Develop your civilization through three Ages. Each Age consists of six simultaneous selections from a hand of seven cards. The final unused card is discarded.
Choose a card to construct as a building, use it to build your next Wonder stage, or discard it for three coins. Sealed choices remain private until everyone has chosen. Age I and III hands pass one direction; Age II reverses it.
Use resources from your civilization to satisfy construction costs. Neighboring players can sell you resources from their brown and grey buildings; each costs two coins unless a trade discount applies. Your neighbors keep their resources. Each production symbol can satisfy one requirement per construction. You may not construct two buildings with the same name.
Wonder stages must be built in order. Pay the next stage's cost, then tuck the selected Age card under your board to receive the stage's benefit.
At the end of each Age, compare shields with both immediate neighbors. Each victory is worth 1, 3, or 5 points according to the Age; defeats are worth -1. After Age III, add Wonder points, military tokens, civilian buildings, commerce, guilds, one point per three coins, and science: one point per symbol squared, plus seven for every complete set of three different symbols.
Before your first choice, select your Wonder’s Day or Night side. Each city has different stage costs and abilities. Olympia can construct certain buildings for free, Halikarnassos can recover a discarded building, and Babylon can play an additional final card of the Age when the appropriate stage is built.
In solo mode you control all seats using the shared seat selector. It is not an AI or single-player variant. Switch seats to submit each secret choice.
Early access: the base game is playable, but some effects and edge cases may still differ from the published Second Edition. Leaders, Cities, Edifice and Armada expansions are not yet available.
The game uses original colored symbols and game-specific ornamentation alongside the shared SVG asset credits.
